NKETNS Closed Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th October

NKETNS will be closed on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th October in accordance with a directive from the Department of Education and Skills due to extreme weather conditions. The school will re-open at 8.35am on Wednesday 18th October.

Grandparents’ Day 2017!

As always, NKETNS Grandparents’ Day was a huge success, with a great turnout! Grandparents from our School Community visited classes, discussed their own childhoods with the students and enjoyed performances from all the classes in the school hall! Parents Run Mini Marathon for NKETNS!

On Monday a group of five parents will complete the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon in aid of NKETNS. Arlene, Céline, Elaine, Niamh and Samantha have undertaken to run the 10km for our school, and we would like to wish them good luck and extend a huge thank you to them for their enthusiasm and commitment to the school community! Open Days for New Parents

On Friday 13th and Friday 20th January we held Open Days for the parents of children who will be joining us next September. The members of the Student Representative Group were given the task of showing new parents around the school. Offering places for Junior Infants 2017-2018

We have begun the process of offering places for our two Junior Infant classes for the school year 2017-2018. The first round of offers was posted out on Monday 9th January. Parents have until 1.00pm on Tuesday 17th January to respond to this offer. The second round of offers will then issue on the afternoon of Tuesday 17th January and this process will continue

Christmas Hampers 2016

Thank you all for your generous contributions to our annual Christmas Hamper Appeal.
