Along with every school in the country, NKETNS took part in Proclamation Day on the 15th March, as the school gathered to raise the Tricolor and to listen to the proclamation being read aloud by members of the staff.
And while the 15th was the official day to mark the reading of the 1916 Proclamation, this event was the culmination of a huge amount of work done throughout the school as every class in the school worked to produce their own proclamations detailing their hopes and aims for their country going forward.
The document below includes the fantastic proclamations that were drafted by the respective classes, and it is wonderful to see how the children’s ideas for the future of their country so closely reflect the ethos of Educate Together throughout. Well done to all!
