The Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O’Sullivan, will officially open the extension to the North Kildare Educate Together National School on Thursday 7th May.
The Minister is due to arrive at the school at 12.00pm and parents and invited guests are asked to be in their seats in the hall at 11.45am. When she arrives, the Minister will be met by representatives of the Board of Management, the Executive Committee and the Student Representative Group. She will then proceed to cut the ribbon to the extension. Following that, everyone will come together in the hall for some short speeches and a musical performance from the children.
Junior and Senior Infants will be the first on stage followed by the pupils from our Outreach Classes for children with autism. Next up will be First and Second Classes who will be followed by Third Class. Sixth Class will be next and the final performance will be from the children in Fourth and Fifth Classes.
It promises to be a memorable day!
