Minister’s Visit – Practical Arrangements

The following arrangments have been put in place for the visit of the Minister for Education and Skills to open the school extension on Thursday 7th May:

Junior and Senior Infants are to be collected at 1.45pm instead of the normal time of 1.20pm and they are to be collected from the Junior Yard and not the front entrance. Children who attend art classes (Artzone) will do so as normal.

All other classes (1st-6th) will go home at the usual time of 2.20pm and in the usual way.

There will be no PE classes on Thursday 7th May so it is not necessary for children to wear their school tracksuits. Children in Third Class are asked to wear black for their performance.

Entry to the official opening is by ticket only. Parents and invited guests are to be seated in the hall by 11.45am at the latest.

There is no parking available inside the school grounds. Please park along the road from St Wolstan’s, in the public car park outside the school gate or in the grounds of Celbridge Athletic Club which will be our overflow car park for tomorrow.
