Board of Management

Every school must have a Board of Management according to the Education Act of 1998. The Board has eight members: two who are appointed by the Executive Committee, two parents elected form the parent body, the school Principal and one teacher elected by the teaching staff and two community members who are appointed by the first six Board members.

Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is a big feature of NKETNS and extends from organising fundraising events to helping with swimming lessons and sharing expertise in the classroom. For some ideas as to how to get involved, click on the link opposite.

The aim of the Parent Teacher Association is to enable parents to play their part in ensuring provision of the best possible education for their children and that this is achieved through the Association’s programme of activities. For updates on events and information relating to the PTA, please see the link to the PTA notice board.
