Hot Lunches

We are delighted to inform you that the school hot meals programme is scheduled to begin on Tuesday 3rd February.

Your child received a sheet of paper last week containing their activation code. Please download the app and use this code to activate your child’s account. Once activated, you can place your order for your child’s meals for next week. Orders will automatically roll over each week unless you choose to make changes. I encourage you to get your order in as soon as possible as if there is no order in for your child there will be no meal for them on Tuesday.

Apples and oranges will also be available to the children to supplement their meals. Depending on your child’s appetite, they may require an additional snack. If sending a snack, please ensure it is something they can hold in their hands and bring out to the yard, as there will be no early snack time during the school day.

Each child will receive a named Tupperware container. Meals will be served in fully compostable containers, which will sit inside these boxes. Children will bring their waste home so that you can see what they have eaten or if there were dishes that were not to their taste. These dishes should not be reheated but the brown compostable container can be disposed of in your household compost bin.

There is an option to opt out of the programme completely. If you wish to do so, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can inform The Lunch Bag directly.
