Aladdin App
What is Aladdin / Aladdin Connect?
Over 2500 primary schools in Ireland use the Aladdin Schools software service for administrative purposes.
Aladdin Connect can be purchased by schools as an add-on to the Aladdin Start package and allows parents/guardians to have secure access to messages and communications from the school and to details of their child’s attendance, test results, report cards, and other selected information. You can securely log in to Aladdin Connect from your internet browser or by using the Aladdin Connect app.
Here, you can learn more about how Aladdin Connect works and how you, your child, and your child’s school can benefit from using Aladdin Connect.

Primary School Survey
Thank you to everyone who took part in the recent Primary School Survey.
The Department of Education and Youth carried out this survey to find out about the type of schools that parents/guardians prefer.
The results outline the preferences of parents/guardians for:
Co-educational or single-sex provision
Patronage/ethos
Language of instruction (English or Irish)
The results show a large majority of parents of children in our school and parents who intend to enrol their children in our school have preference for co-educational education, multi-denominational ethos/patronage and education through English (our current configuration).
The survey results are available here
Once you have read the survey and guidance document you can send any comments and feedback to us at office@nketns.ie
