Thursday the 3rd of March marks this years celebration of World Book Day in Ireland. Over the last 19 years World Book Day has become firmly established as Ireland’s biggest annual event promoting the enjoyment of books and reading, and as part of the event children form all classes have been writing reviews on their favourite books, making posters highlighting the magic of reading, and dressing up as their favourite characters from classic tales!
On top of this, there have been some fantastic door displays put together by the children, inspired by some of their favourite books. Have a look at the creativity on display on some of our classroom doors.
