Meet Percy, Our New School Dog!

We’re thrilled to introduce Percy, Community Dog number 30 out of 35 working in schools across Ireland with Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Percy officially started his school journey with Ellie in January 2025, and he’s already winning hearts everywhere he goes!

He turned 2 years old on 10th August, and when he’s not hard at work bringing joy to our school, he enjoys time off with Ellie and her family.

Percy especially loves going on free runs and leaping into the stream at Castletown. He’s quite the water lover!

At school, Percy will be supported by a fantastic team including Ellie, Gina, Jenny and Kelly, all of whom will be trained by the Irish Guide Dogs to help Percy settle in and thrive.

We’re so excited to welcome Percy into our school community in the coming weeks. We know he’s going to be a pawsitively wonderful addition!
