Our New Sensory Cube and Hive

We’re delighted to share two wonderful new additions to our school – a Sensory Cube and a Sensory Hive!

Our Sensory Cube has been set up in one of our special classes in Outreach, providing a calm and engaging space where children can explore light, sound, and colour in a safe and soothing environment. It offers opportunities for relaxation, sensory regulation, and focused learning in a space designed to meet individual needs.

The Sensory Hive is located in a corridor, giving all children the chance to enjoy sensory exploration as part of their day. It’s already proving to be a popular and positive space for children to take a mindful moment, explore textures and lights, or simply enjoy a short sensory break.

Both spaces reflect our school’s commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and supporting every child to learn and thrive in their own way.
