Over the past few years the number of children diagnosed with life-threatening allergies has been on the increase and NKETNS is not immune to this trend. We have a significant number of children in both the senior and junior ends of the school with life-threatening allergies to nuts and consequently we have a blanket ban on bringing nuts of any type into school. School reopens on Thursday 1st September at 8.40am for all classes from Senior Infants to 6th Class. For new Junior Infants, their timetable is from 9.15am-12.00pm up to including Friday 16th September. From Monday 19th September on Junior Infants will be in school from 8.40am-1.20pm.
